Principles of EMDR Therapy and Implications for Trauma Informed Care

This webinar will (1) review the main principles and the model that informs EMDR Therapy; (2) examine new ways to view trauma and assess for adverse life events that may be behind a client’s stuck points; and (3) use neurobiology to activate components of memory to track disturbance as well as resources. Participants will leave with a better understanding of memory, trauma, neurobiology, cultural considerations, and applications for use in clinical practice. This is an introduction to EMDR.
