Some of the major themes come from 20 psychologists who examine their cultural influences and the impact that they have on their personal/professional lives. Some objectives include understanding the difference between rationale and the limitations of the color-blind racial ideology. Participants will also be able to identify two models for working with underserved communities as well as know one challenge and one benefit of understanding others’ cultural identities. Lastly, you will be provided two examples of how to address these conversations in a professional setting.
